Ms. Renatta and Ms. Naomi’s classroom at Brucker Head Start had a fun week learning how to care for the planet. The students became “planet protectors” as they picked up litter, planted seeds, and went on a nature scavenger hunt. They enjoyed the beautiful outdoors while celebrating Earth Day! 🌍💚 #SaginawISD #OurStory

Students exploring Jerome STEM Campus’ greenhouse had the exciting opportunity to harvest potatoes they planted back in January. This hands-on experience brought their learning full circle, as students planted, cared for, and ultimately harvested their crop.

Moments like these highlight the power of experiential learning and student engagement in real-world applications!

Hands-on learning was in full flow in Ms. Steckly’s classroom at Jerome STEM Campus as students explored fluid dynamics and discovered how water moves, reacts, and is absorbed in different environments. Each student engaged with their own materials to test predictions, spark curiosity, and deepen scientific thinking through inquiry-based learning.

What began as a structured exploration continued throughout the day as students extended their experiments, shared results, and engaged in meaningful academic conversations.
